IMVU's growth is in our DNA. When IMVU started, we were working from a dorm room at 18a. In 2012, we were awarded the best gaming company in the world. In 2014, we were scooped up by a private tech investment firm and put under their guardianship. And now, we are an independent company owned by our players. In this dream we have kept everything the same but we are now working within a true startup environment. Over the last three years, we have been able to move quickly and efficiently with limited resources.
The last strategy we implement is making the daily IMVU experience more connected. We are doing that by redesigning IMVU to offer a clean and streamlined experience. Also, we are making the sales funnel of IMVU more rewarding to both our users and the brands. What this means is that we are making IMVU a fantastic mobile destination for brands that drives revenue and the user engagement that lead to growth.
Brands are the lifeblood of IMVUs industry. They want to retain their customers. In our experience, retaining users is an order of magnitude harder than acquiring users. In order to achieve that goal we need to make the user experience excellent and continuously improve it. For users we do that by highlighting things they miss and making them more discoverable.
